As a pivotal force within our Business Operations team, you will leverage your analytical expertise to drive strategic decision-making across Apple's Consumer Sales organization. You will be the commercial conscience, working hand-in-hand with Sales, Supply Chain, Reseller Operations, and Finance to dissect market dynamics, forecast trends, and transform intricate performance data into compelling, executive-level insights. Your mandate will be to proactively identify and operationalize high-impact growth opportunities, architecting strategic playbooks that optimize sales execution and revenue generation.

You will define and manage sales quotas and reseller incentive programs, meticulously tracking performance against ambitious targets. This role demands a strategic mindset to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that deliver both immediate commercial gains and long-term competitive advantage. You will orchestrate rigorous performance reviews, transforming daily and weekly metrics into actionable intelligence that sharpens our operational focus and accelerates achievement of financial goals. Supply Chain & Inventory Strategy: Optimize allocation and supply chain strategies through advanced analytics, collaborating with Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales to maximize product availability and revenue. Drive strategic initiatives for inventory optimization, minimizing excess and maximizing efficiency.
Forecasting & Constraint Management: Provide critical commercial insights to enhance forecasting accuracy and inventory planning. Strategically navigate product constraints, advising on optimal trade-offs across the U.S. business.
AI/ML Innovation & Automation: Act as the primary business owner for internal AI/ML engineering and data science teams, defining the vision and driving the roadmap for systems and tools that automate and revolutionize business operations.
Preferred Qualifications
An MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
A deep understanding of the consumer electronics and competitive carrier/telecommunications landscape, including industry trends, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
Proven ability to consistently see around corners and anticipate future commercial challenges, viewing the market through the lens of the customer.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of progressive experience in highly analytical and commercially focused roles such as Sales Operations, Business Planning, Strategic Consulting, Finance, or Business Analytics.
Demonstrated track record of driving significant business impact through data-driven insights and strategic execution.
Mastery of quantitative analysis, complex data modeling, and the ability to translate intricate data into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences.
Exceptional cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus across diverse teams.
Expert proficiency in advanced analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and executive presentation platforms (e.g., Keynote).
Proven ability to thrive and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous environment.
Experience partnering effectively with engineering and data science teams, acting as the business voice to shape and advance internal systems and AI/ML-driven automation initiatives.

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
