Apple Health is looking for a Clinical Program Manager capable of leading operations and supporting high-level software updates of multiple, multifaceted research studies with tasks of varying scale, complexity, and focus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project/program management, prior experience in health research, is comfortable working with software, be able to balance effort across multiple work streams, collaboratively drive work forward without direct control, and possesses exceptional interpersonal skills.
Description
The Clinical Program Manager will be responsible for leading operations and supporting high-level software updates across app-based health studies sponsored by Apple. The nature of the role includes working with internal and external partners and vendors, coordinating process improvements, execution of weekly standing tasks, and reporting updates to leadership. This person will coordinate the high-level creation, setup, and operations for study-related data pipelines. The coordination of regular meetings with both internal and external partners across multiple teams with physicians, researchers, and engineers, among others will be essential.
We expect our team to work collaboratively and actively resolve conflicts. The Clinical PM will establish and maintain strong working relationships with peers and partners, and provide regular status updates, summarizing issues to key points and actions required. Finally, this person represents the organization to other internal groups and customers to ensure that Apple's Health objectives are well understood. Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the primary contact for study logistics and day-to-day operations
• Seamlessly utilize software tools for non-developers to translate study content into code
• Have strong interpersonal skills, be detailed-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated
• Serve as the hub across teams and roles, including physicians, researchers, data scientists, and engineers
• Troubleshoot to correct problems from study software, study operations, and participant experiences
This is a site-based role.
Preferred Qualifications
Simplified Chinese language skills
Comfortable collaborating with technical teams
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5+ years project / program management experience
Strong background working in health research
Experience working with software (e.g. detailing product, feature, and/or content requirements for engineering team, using software tools to translate content into code, handling updates within pre-set software schedules)
Comfortable managing projects to firm deadlines; highly organized
Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with ability to adapt depending on the audience
