Music is in Apple's DNA. It is an integral part of the creative process. Marcom's Music team drives music direction not only for our ads, but also for our social activations, marketing content, demo videos, how-to tutorials, product films and more. We oversee music curation, licensing, composition and arrangement as well as audio mixing and sound design, and run point with any on-set music performances.

Cultivate and sustain strong relationships across the music industry, including artists, managers, producers, label and publishing executives planning multiple genres and markets.
Serve as a key liaison between creative and production teams and musicians, composers, music editors, sound designers and mix engineers to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
Monitor emerging music trends on both local and international levels to inform creative direction and strategic opportunities.
Maintain a comprehensive, current, and searchable music library database to support ongoing and future creative needs.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a calm, focused, and productive approach in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Highly resourceful in sourcing and delivering quality music.
Diplomatic and solutions-oriented, with the ability to navigate complex relationships and manage professional partnerships with discretion and clarity.
Ability to interpret and verify technical mix specs and QC across multiple formats and platforms.
Experience in music production, and/or agency environments strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative and technical direction to diverse team members.
Experience presenting music concepts and work-in-progress to senior creative leadership and executive partners.
Demonstrated leadership experience collaborating with large, cross-functional teams.
Experience working with global teams and campaigns, with sensitivity to regional markets and cultural nuance.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing assets, deliverables, and timelines across concurrent projects.
Deep understanding of Apple's brand, history, and creative standards, with the ability to translate brand values into distinctive and authentic music expressions.
Proven experience identifies high-quality music choices that aligns with the brand's tone of voice and project objectives.
Strong collaborative team player who contributes meaningfully to the creative process, working closely with internal teams.
Holds existing relationships with collaborators across music supervision, original composition, sound design, audio engineering, artist management, music reps, record label and music publishing.
Minimum Qualifications
10 years of experience in music supervision and/or A&R shaping music for high-profile creative work.
Proficient in music editing software (ie Logic Pro), with experience syncing music to video and creating various edits to accelerate creative projects
Experience presenting creative concepts and narratives through music and sound to leadership and stakeholders
Strong working knowledge of music rates and budgets across licensing, original composition, production, and post-audio workflows.
Familiarity with music clearance processes, rights management, and contract negotiation in collaboration with legal and business affairs teams.

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $173,500 and $260,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
