Backend Software Engineer, Creativity Apps
Growing Apple Services group, where you will work on building backend services and pipelines that power Creativity Apps and InfoApps org. These services will help power backend for apps that is used by millions of users every day across all the iOS and Mac devices.
Within the org, you will primarily work on building and enhancing highly-scalable backend services and pipelines and designing highly scalable systems. Our team is composed of a close-knit, highly collaborative group of engineers who are committed to excellence throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Description
This position is for a Backend Engineer who will work on leading edge technologies to build highly performant and scalable backend pipelines and services that power Creativity Apps and InfoApps. This will provide opportunity to work with highly collaborative group of engineers, where you can help shape the next generation of applications and tools
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins), and build tools (such as Gradle and Bazel)
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience coding with either Java or Spring
Extensive experience working with NoSQL data stores such as Cassandra and Solr
Experience with event driven architectures and pipelines
Experience designing high-scale services and APIs
Strong problem solving abilities and skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
