Backend Server Engineer - Health Software
Are you passionate about health and eager to apply your development experience in creative ways that enable real health benefits? The Health Software team is looking for a Server Software Engineer to help build products that empower users to manage and learn about their health. In this position, you will design and implement scalable, cloud-based backend services used by millions of Apple customers. You will be part of the team that contributes to Clinical Health Records and many future Apple Health features.
Description
As a member of the team, you'll design and build the backend systems that support many functionalities of the Health app and other health features on iOS. Moreover, you'll participate in broader health initiatives at Apple, interact with external partners, and work with many cross-functional teams. This position requires a self-motivated engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills.","responsibilities":"Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services.
Build systems that integrate using healthcare standards (SMART, FHIR).

Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience with server-side programming environments using languages like Java, Scala, or Python.
Knowledge of common web services protocols and standards (HTTPS, JSON, REST).
Experience building and supporting stable server-side systems.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and platform services.
Knowledge of database systems and data model design.
