Our team is looking for a Quality & Automation Engineer to join our AppleCare Product Ops team to support planning, crafting, scheduling, coordinating, and implementing tests for projects in the AppleCare On-Device channel.

Description

As a AppleCare On-Device Quality & Automation Engineer, you will be tasked with working along side project PMs, developers and testers across multiple teams and organizations to fanatically ensure high quality products for our business and customers while continuously improving testing practices. ","responsibilities":"You will participate in release of system improvements / new functionalities from Development to Production through effective quality and automation engineering.

Encouraged to lead end to end test activities including test strategy, test process management, team coordination and communication, be able to determine test automation approach and scope for the project effort work with multi-functional teams to support each release project testing and post Release/Change review.

You will develop test plans, facilitate creation of test cases, and test scripts on multiple projects of varying sizes and develop the automation stack in support of testing.

Build tools and infrastructure to support GenAI integration for automation.

You will build and maintain overall testing knowledge repository for the AppleCare Business Development team, continuously improve testing standard processes and methods, and report testing metrics including SLAs and indicators.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with business use-case testing, SAP tools use, quality plan creation, debugging tools usage including Charles, sysdiagnose, accessibility testing.

Cloud based technologies a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

BS degree in computer science or information management plus 3-5 years of related QA experience

3+ years of hands-on experience in test case scripting and quality and automation engineering

GenAI tools integration for automation

Hands-on development experience

Proven track record of driving quality automation, building tools and QA testing

Experience testing on macOS, iOS (mobile apps)

Must have a solid understanding of SQA methodologies and practices

Prior experience with leading QA efforts across multi-functional projects/teams is mandatory

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with multiple customers

Solid experience working with remote teams situated in different time zones (onsite & offshore teams)

Strong in analytical problem solving skills and looking beyond what's obvious

Proven bug detection and regression skills

The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
