AMP Disbursements Operations Analyst

Today Austin, TX

Apple's Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization is looking for a highly motivated and capable Financial Analyst in the Apple Media Products (AMP) Disbursements Operations team. This is a critical and high-impact role where you will support Apple's global developer payment program, ensuring that developers and content creators across the App Store, Apple Music, and other Apple media platforms receive accurate and timely earnings payments. The role includes responsibilities for executing the global payment process, reporting on key metrics outlining the health of the business, and serving as a critical fraud detection resource and risk mitigator.

As a key member of the AMP Disbursements team, this role will work cross-functionally to support our continued improvement initiatives, to cultivate strategic partnerships, to drive excellence in operational execution, and to ensure innovation is top of mind, while balancing best-in-class payment operations and compliance standards. This individual will also serve as a senior analytical resource for the team, leveraging data platforms to surface insights, detect anomalies, and drive scalable solutions that strengthen the integrity of our global payment operations.

Description

Execute and manage the end-to-end global payment disbursement process for AMP developers and content creators, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing in accordance with all internal controls.

Serve as the team's primary analytical resource - leveraging Snowflake and Dataiku to build, maintain, and enhance reporting dashboards and data pipelines that track payment trends, operational health metrics, and key business indicators for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Lead fraud detection efforts by systematically cross-referencing payment queues against platform termination and bad-actor data, identifying patterns and anomalies that signal potential fraudulent activity, and partnering with internal teams to investigate, escalate, and resolve findings in a timely manner.

Spearhead automation initiatives that streamline payment operations, reduce manual effort, and strengthen the control environment - continuously identifying opportunities to improve end-to-end disbursement workflows through technology and process simplification.

Maintain and develop strong business partnerships within GBS and across internal teams, including Worldwide Developer Relations, Legal, Division Controllers, BAC, platform Trust and Safety partners, and external bank partners, to ensure alignment and informed decision-making across a diverse global payment ecosystem.
