This is a highly technical, hands-on position where you will work with Infrastructure and SRE teams to make our services reliable and fast for hundreds of millions of customers. We're looking for an EPM with a solid track record of maintaining high-quality global services under demanding usage to further the reliability and stability of our infrastructure that supports millions of users every day.

Responsibilities will include:","responsibilities":"Strategic Program Alignment: Serve as the primary liaison between China-based engineering teams and global cross-functional partners to ensure seamless alignment on roadmaps, priorities, and execution milestones.

Regulatory and Compliance Engagement: Partner closely with local compliance, legal, and government affairs teams to develop and support on-shore service strategies that align with Apple's regulatory and operational objectives.

Partner Collaboration and Execution: Work with stakeholders on new and existing projects; drive functional and technical design discussions, cross-functional negotiations, planning, execution, delivery, documentation and more. Bridging the gap between our China and West Coast teams by providing a native-speaking resource who can be present in the right conversations at the right time. This individual will be instrumental in pulling together diverse initiatives, understanding cultural and contextual nuances, and navigating language and cultural boundaries.

Preferred Qualifications

15+ years of Technical Program Management with experience covering as many of the following as possible: global internet services, a large-scale & international user base, distributed computing, a product with external dependencies (e.g. partner data feeds), and responsibility for rapid-response actions.

Innate drive to improve how things work, with proven track record of driving dramatic improvements for team quality, performance, agility, or effectiveness.

Prior professional exposure to Apple's teams, culture, environment and workflows.

Demonstrated strength in fostering alignment, trust, and seamless collaboration across global and cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of Technical Program/Project Management experience in dynamic, fast paced environment.

Strong technical experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure. Bonus points for past Engineering experience.

Proactive, independent problem-solver able to rapidly triage, prioritize, and lead cross-functional teams under pressure.

Outstanding communication and organizational skills, written and verbal and ability to optimally manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Demonstrated assertiveness and sound judgment, able to thoughtfully challenge requests, say 'no' when appropriate, and push back constructively while weighing multiple perspectives to make decisions aligned with business needs.

Exceptional operational precision and attention to detail, paired with strong analytical problem-solving skills and a sharp ability to spot and mitigate risks.

Successfully managed and delivered multiple complex projects in China.

Huge bonus points for prior Apple experience

Proven experience navigating Chinese government processes and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Fluent in Mandarin

International travel will be required

Strong possibility that relocation will be required

BS/MS EE/CS/CE in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
