AIML PM org is looking for a Senior Engineering Program Manager with a strong track record of leading complex cross-functional programs. As a Senior EPM, you need to have extensive experience in working with cross functional partners to develop software, machine learning models and features for expansion into China. You will also need to have extensive experience to drive consensus via data driven approach among cross functional organizations. You will work with top tier data scientists, engineers, software teams, security, legal, privacy, and other product teams across Apple to help ensure we deliver high quality GenAI powered experiences in China that over 1 billion customers expect and love.

In this role, responsibilities include but not limited to:","responsibilities":"Create and manage project schedules with clear dependencies, critical path and systematic methodology to communicate status. Manage risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant.

Drive alignment across the organization and between teams to launch and maintain premier Apple software products.

Work with data science, data engineering and research teams to develop data collection and evaluation solutions

Work with privacy, and legal teams to ensure product development delivers delightful user experience and privacy protection.

Work with cross region engineering teams to align priority and drive clarity.

Provide regular program update to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's or PhD degree in Statistics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, other Quantitative Sciences, or related field and equivalent experience

5+ years of experience managing a program management team in AI powered product space, preferably experience in evaluation of MLAI products

Self-sufficient in analyzing and drawing conclusions about the quality and product opportunity from raw and refined product data

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to details

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of experience in driving large scale program building machine learning powered products

Excellent program management skills including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently

Have personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations (100+)

Strong analytical skills and a curiosity to peel the onion to discover opportunities for impact and better user experience

Capability to work across a large number of teams to enforce process and efficient outcomes in a data-driven environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation and influence

BS/MS in EE/CS/CE or equivalent

Bilingual, fluent in both Chinese and English

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
