As part of our WorldWide Sales Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) group, you will be responsible for managing data initiatives that enable the business to drive sales, improve customer experience, and innovate the way we lead and support one of the largest channel operations in the world. These data initiatives are typically related to new technical capabilities or to transformation of business processes that support continuously evolving sales motions, expanding Geo coverage and routes-to-market.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing on the vision for AI/ML driven insights and capabilities as the interface between Business, IT Data Science, and Data Engineering teams. You will use your deep business acumen and technical background to influence product design and development efforts from a sales perspective. You will collaborate cross-functionally and multi-directionally to drive the product lifecycle forward from ideation to development to post-launch improvements. As new technologies emerge, your passion for excellence and forward-thinking approach will revolutionize how our channel teams use data to make decisions, resulting in industry-leading customer experiences and expanded adoption of the Apple ecosystem.

Partner with key business teams to develop ML strategy and solutions for Sales.

Develop ML solutions to improve the speed, efficiency, and quality of decision making.

Engage with business users to understand requirements and deliver tools/analytics that will support their needs.

Lead AI/ML Projects from conception to execution, guiding technical teams on implementing solutions.

Lead project communications, implement change, and deliver training.

Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to address business complexity issues from an analysis and process perspective and be the focal point of contact for systems concerns.

Passion over the user interface and user experience on solutions.

Propose and implement new & innovative ways for the business to answer questions quickly.

Use expert analytical abilities to report on customer performance and in turn, help us to deliver an even better customer experience.

Develop early alert mechanisms through analytical insights in our sales data set and identify assignable actions to increase sell thru.

Apply the appropriate statistical analytics techniques to find opportunities to optimize sales processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience solving complex technical challenges with large-scale platforms

Expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) project management and analysis is a plus (e.g., scoping, requirements gathering, documentation, design, development, user acceptance testing, change management, etc.)

Background leveraging technology to drive scale (with emphasis on AI and ML technologies) is a plus

Forward-thinking approach and tenacity to anticipate risks prior to escalation and proactively drive towards a solution

High level of integrity, trust, and accountability to do what's right

Outstanding attention to detail and organization skills

Minimum Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience

Background in product management, engineering project/program management, and/or similar function driving large scale complex business process/technology transformation initiatives

Broad proficiency in design thinking techniques and tools (e.g., vision setting, product requirements documents, critical metrics, customer journey maps, roadmaps, etc.)

Extraordinary data analytical skills, including the ability to model, interpret, and present data for maximum impact.

Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas and effectively tailor approach to technical and non-technical audiences

Strong collaboration and negotiation skills, including previous experience gaining consensus across a variety of cross-functional and multi-directional partners to influence strategy and roadmap

Passion for continuous improvement with the curiosity to uncover gaps, resilience to manage ambiguity, and drive to create solutions to accelerate business growth

Experience working on enterprise-scale, multi-country digital transformation projects

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
