The Siri team is building world class technology for virtual assistants using machine learning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence. As the program manager on the Siri and Search team, you will help build and maintain complex software platforms, tools, and processes for world knowledge experiences across all Apple platforms. You'll work with Apple engineering and product teams to serve over 1 billion customers, creating the highest quality user experience that Apple customers expect and love.

You will coordinate and drive early engagements on product architecture, feature definition and program execution. This includes collaborating with all partner organizations relevant for a project, You will:","responsibilities":"Communicate: Provide clear, timely and objective communication, including regular program status updates and critical issues as needed to executive team

Coordinate: Coordinate discussions and break down complex issues into discussion topics to drive engineering and design alignment with support from project team, maintaining an orientation toward teamwork and collaboration

Plan: Create and manage project schedules with clear dependencies, critical path and systematic methodology to communicate status. Manage risks and mitigations, and re- plan as events warrant. Drive alignment across the organization and between teams

Execute: Drive on time delivery and deployment, identifying development and feasibility needs, establishing achievements for checkpoints and status updates

Problem solve: Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources vital to attack and resolve. Coordinate with teams to identify issues, prioritize tasks and track risks to schedule and product quality, including cross-functional dependencies

Collaborate: Partner with design, engineering, marketing, research, quality assurance, and many other functions to ensure product is best in class when released.

Strategize: Create yearly roadmaps by identifying top opportunities using data-driven approaches. Validate plans and adjust throughout execution as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience driving product strategy and direction

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in technical engineering project or program management

Excellent project management skills including project structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently

Strong knowledge of technical system architecture and systems design tradeoffs

Thorough understanding of testing, build and release processes for complex software

Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving

Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation and influence

Ability to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations and communication strategies

Self-sufficient in analyzing and drawing conclusions about the quality and product opportunity from raw and refined product data

BS/BE in CS/EE/CE or equivalent
