Description

As an Annotation and Collection Analyst, you will have the opportunity to coordinate cross-functionally with a variety of engineering teams, project managers and participants from internal and external sources to collect data used for Machine Learning models, evaluation, training and testing, utilizing your language and cultural expertise. For annotations, you'll leverage your annotation expertise to provide quality, procedural and tools guidance on key projects. You will help develop high quality data to build, test and fix machine learned models, as well as review and follow complex guidelines and protocols in a fast paced environment.

","responsibilities":"Install and maintain Apple devices, set up labs, and ensure understanding of project protocols navigating systems, tools and sharing best practices with team.

Run collection sessions, recruit participants, schedule, upload data, manage swag distribution and provide key metrics.

Execute pre-defined scripts for data quality, apply troubleshooting FAQs and follow escalation processes.

Support data collections projects following PMs direction.

Train rotational moderators on duties, provide protocol walkthroughs, and prepare training resources.

Perform and understand the technical aspects of annotation and grading work.

Preferred Qualifications

One year experience in data annotation and previous DCM experience

Bachelors degree in engineering or a linguistics field, or equivalent work experience

Experience in manual testing of software and logging of test results

Experience in project management and Machine Learning

Language skills including strong grammar and cultural awareness

Minimum Qualifications

Aptitude for setup and troubleshooting of hardware devices and software builds

Knowledge of Machine Learning data annotation process, related tools and software

Proven expertise navigating systems and tools, sharing best practices with team members

Previous experience working with language data (e.g. research, analysis)

Proven attention to detail and critical thinking skills, demonstrating integrity and focus on customer privacy

Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to changing work-flows and processes

Ability to identify business process solutions to increase efficiencies

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Knack for acquiring technical skills, an eagerness to learn and to take on new challenges
