You Are:

With a background in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering, you bring hands-on experience in meshing technologies and computational analysis. What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct rigorous testing of Ansys (Part of Synopsys) applications including Meshing in Workbench, Fluent-Meshing, and meshing capabilities for the #Python ecosystem.
- Analyze product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans for new features.
- Design, specify, and write new test cases; modify and update existing tests and maintain test scripts for automation and manual environments.
- Perform functional, application, regression, and performance testing in both manual and automated test environments.
- Lead testing initiatives by providing coverage analysis, testing metrics, and participating actively in defect management processes.
- Identify and investigate product defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Operate across diverse computing environments, including Windows, Linux, virtual machines, compute clusters, and cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain customer trust by ensuring products are tested with the end user in mind, representing the voice of the customer throughout the testing lifecycle.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering and 5 years related experience, or Master's degree with 3 years related experience.
- Expertise in meshing technologies for implicit and explicit finite element analysis (FEA) and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
- Advanced proficiency in programming and scripting languages, especially Python.
- Experience with software development, testing processes, and automation tools; proven use of GitHub Copilot to streamline test script development.
- Strong familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, including virtualized and cloud environments.
- Commercial experience with meshing and solver products (e.g., Workbench Meshing, Fluent-Meshing, Fluent, CFX, Ansys Mechanical, Ansys LS-Dyna) is highly desirable.
