What You'll Be Doing:

  • Drive sales of ANSYS solutions within your assigned region through indirect channel partnerships, embodying the ANSYS Channel principles.
  • Provide hands-on leadership by actively participating in sales opportunities and guiding partner representatives with a "sell-with" approach.
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior-level customer executives to expand market reach and drive new business.
  • Coach and motivate channel partner reps, ensuring they have the skills, training, and certifications needed to excel in selling ANSYS products.
  • Conduct joint customer visits and facilitate timely sales, technical, and principal training sessions with channel partners.
  • Manage partner capacity, capabilities, and business model transformations, supporting their growth and practice development.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and regularly review pipelines with channel partners to ensure targets are met.
  • Mediate partner requests, resolve customer concerns-including pricing, discounting, and software performance issues-and develop tactical solutions.
  • Assist regional sales leaders in market analysis, competitor evaluation, and go-to-market strategy definition.
  • Act as a liaison between channel partners and internal business units, ensuring seamless collaboration and problem resolution.

  • Facilitate efficient workflows and cross-functional collaboration between channel partners and internal teams.
  • Contribute to the development of market coverage strategies based on robust analysis of business trends and competitor activity.
  • Enhance customer retention by promptly addressing concerns and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, inclusion, and innovation within the channel sales ecosystem.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of successful sales, key accounts, and indirect channel account management experience in the software industry (or 10+ years without a degree).
  • Proven ability to lead channel representatives in selling ANSYS products independently.
  • Strong understanding of scientific or technical software products/services, pricing, licensing practices, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Exceptional contract negotiation skills with key accounts and partners.
  • Excellent time management, communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong analytical, planning, coaching, and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to support business activities.
  • Fluency in English and local language of the territory (preferred).
  • MBA or advanced degree and experience in Simulation/PLM software industry (preferred).
