What You'll Be Doing:
- Learn and apply concepts in Discrete Element Method (DEM) and Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) physics as relevant to Ansys Rocky simulation software.
- Gain hands-on experience in software testing and engineering documentation for advanced simulation software.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop and automate testing procedures and engineering documentation processes.
- Work across a variety of computing environments, including Windows, Linux, virtual machines, compute clusters, and cloud platforms.
- Support the automation of verification and validation activities for mathematical models using experiments and scientific literature.

What You'll Need:
- Currently pursuing a BS in Engineering or a related field with at least 2 years of completed coursework, or equivalent experience with engineering simulation software (CAE such as DEM, FEA, CFD).
- Familiarity with verification and validation of mathematical models using experiments and/or scientific papers.
- Fluency in English.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Ansys products, discrete-event simulation methods (especially DEM/SPH), and basic programming (Python/C++).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to learn quickly and collaborate with a geographically distributed team.

- Location: Florianópolis-SC, Brazil.
- Working Model: Hybrid working - flexible blend of remote and on-site collaboration.
- Full-Time/Part-Time: 6h/day
