What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing and implementing robust, end-to-end agentic workflows within the Ansys Mechanical product using cutting-edge AI technologies.
  • Analyzing real-world usage data to iteratively improve workflow effectiveness and user experience.
  • Developing and optimizing embedding pipelines and integrating with vector databases to achieve high-performance, cost-effective AI systems.
  • Creating, refining, and deploying high-quality Large Language Model prompts to deliver impactful AI-powered user interactions.
  • Deploying AI workflows to local networks, ensuring secure and reliable integration into existing infrastructure.
  • Investigating and resolving defects in production code, enhancing software reliability and user trust.
  • Developing comprehensive unit tests for new features, ensuring maintainable and error-resistant codebases.
  • Analyzing results from AI workflows to drive continuous improvements in software usability, reliability, and performance.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience or Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar field, with coursework in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
  • Demonstrable experience working with Large Language Models in production environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, especially Python, for rapid prototyping and workflow automation.
  • Strong analytical and algorithmic problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Experience with unit testing, debugging, and code optimization in complex software systems.
  • Familiarity with development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, and GitHub.
  • Exposure to NLP, Knowledge Graphs, and agentic workflows (reasoning, tool usage, automated task execution, Model Context Protocols).
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C++, C#, Go, Rust, or Java is a plus.

The team focuses on integrating state-of-the-art AI systems into the Ansys Mechanical product suite, working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver innovative features that meet real-world user needs.
