Technical Release Management Specialist (Hybrid)
The Technical Release Management Specialist collaborates with others to provide and maintain applications that meet business needs. You will be responsible for design and development for simple to moderately complex business solutions. You will report to the Senior Manager, Technology Services.
In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from Boston, MA 02110

Position Compensation Range:
$90,000.00 - $147,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Primary Accountabilities
- You will design and develop solutions to the level of quality defined by the requirements in adherence with standards, methodology and internal controls.
- You will understand and identify system dependencies. Understands functionality, integration points and impacts of proposed changes to supporting applications.
- You will follow through with options and recommendations.
- You will provide appropriate documentation for design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics as required by organization standards.
- You will define, conduct, and/or participate in testing (i.e. unit, system integration).
- You will collaborate with others regarding effectiveness of systems flow, data usage and manual or automated processes to verify requirements.
- You will ensure software development meets standards for programming, design, performance, quality, and security.
- You will participate in team activities and taking on additional work tasks as needed to help the team accomplish the desired outcome or goals.
- You will create, maintain, and/or enhance system documentation as needed.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
- Basic knowledge and understanding of integration and migration strategies and technologies.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of application architecture, design alternatives, and development standards.
- Demonstrated experience developing complex software/systems using one or more programming language.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting, modifying and writing application system design and program specifications.
- Demonstrated experience using and supporting integration and communications technologies between applications, databases and technology platforms.
- Demonstrated experience using relational databases and standard query language (SQL).
- Solid knowledge and understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC).
- Solid knowledge and understanding of activities, tasks, tools and techniques for testing applications to ensure adherence to functional and quality requirements.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Preferences
- Understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC) and software delivery processes.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate tasks and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of application environments, infrastructure components, and system integrations.
- Experience or familiarity with release coordination, deployment support, or IT operations activities is preferred.
- Exposure to release orchestration tools, ticketing systems, or automation platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) is a plus.
