Senior SAP FS-CD Technical Functional Consultant

Job Description
We're looking for a seasoned SAP FS-CD Consultant to join our SAP engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in SAP Financial Services - Collections and Disbursements (FS-CD), and a solid grasp of insurance or banking business processes.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of functional and technical skills, with hands-on experience in payment processing, collections, accounts receivable billing, and disbursements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate strategic goals into actionable, impactful objectives.
  • Lead teams managing critical architecture components or strategic business functions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in software best practices, promoting them across teams.
  • Collaborate with and influence key stakeholders to drive alignment and success.

SAP FS-CD Specific Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Apply deep knowledge of insurance, reinsurance, or financial services workflows (e.g., premium collections, claims payments, commission processing).
  • Work with core FS-CD components such as Payments, Dunning, Clearing Rules, Account Determination, and Business Partner Management.
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Billing processes within SAP FS-CD.
  • Understand and integrate end-to-end business and technology processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to technical and functional team members.
  • Ensure adherence to industry and technology best practices in development.

Qualifications

  • 4 years or more of hands-on experience in SAP FS-CD with a techno-functional background. (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and the modern SAP ecosystem.
  • Experience in ABAP development, including CDS views, OData services, APIs, and ABAP RESTful programming.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5, BRF+, and Workflow.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP tools such as Integration Suite, CPI, and BAS.
  • Solid understanding of secure development and technology best practices.
  • Experience with Agile SCRUM and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Familiarity with test automation tools, preferably Tosca.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $92,560.00 - 166,465.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
