Job Description
The Chat Agent Team Lead II guides and ensures their team establishes new customer relationships via the Chat platform and serves as a trusted advisor by identifying customer needs and matching them with appropriate Allstate coverages and products and/or referring them to Allstate partners. This role will quote and issue auto, motorcycle, renters and homeowners insurance policies. They are also responsible for assisting the chat agents that role up to them with escalated issues and provide internal and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently uses resources to accurately issue policies in compliance with underwriting and state mandated requirements, as measured by survival and quality results
  • Ensures teams provide customer's success with navigating Allstate.com to complete the sales process and ensure a successful on-boarding experience with our organization (i.e., same day acceptance of terms and conditions)
  • Thrives in an environment of change and is committed to professional development
  • Plays a vital role in leading reactive and proactive chats to gather information and close sales on personal lines insurance for the Chat Agents
  • Ensures their team provides quality of service meeting customer and business partner needs
  • Builds and deepens customer relationships by providing empathetic, efficient, and responsive service that reflects our brand and our culture
  • Proactively identifies the need for and offers additional insurance products and services offered by Allstate and/or Allstate business partners to help us build and retain a profitable, multi-line portfolio
  • Accountable for team's output and success
  • Education
  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Required)
  • Experience
  • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
