Summary:

Huntington Ingalls Industies - Technical Solutions Division is seeking a talented and experienced veteran to join our team at Shaw AFB, in South Carolina. Shaw Air Force Base ranks as one of the oldest installations in the Air Force. Shaw Air Force Base is named in honor of 1st Lt. Ervin D. Shaw, a Sumter County native, killed in action during World War I while on a long-range reconnaissance flight behind enemy lines. Today, Shaw Air Force Base is the home of the United States Air Force Central Command (USAFCENT) Headquarters, the 15th Air Force Headquarters and the 20th Fighter Wing, and is the largest combat F-16 fighting wing. The base community consists of more than 7,140 active duty military members, 14,000 family members and more than 730 civilian employees. AFCENT is the Air Force Service Component of United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), a joint Department of Defense combatant command responsible for U.S. security interests in 27 nations that stretch from the Horn of Africa through the Persian Gulf region, into Central Asia.

• Validate manpower requirements for Traffic Managers in the USCENTCOMAOR.
• Coordinate transportation movement requirements with HAF FAM, MAJCOMs, and Air Force Guard/Reserve.
• Review Transportation Account Code cost management spreadsheets and validate AORexpenditures for Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) or USAFCENT tasked/associated shipments.
• Perform Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) Workstation Area Security Officer (WASO) duties.
• Conduct semi-annual to annual staff-assist visits to AF bases throughout the USCENTCOM AOR where Traffic Management flights are established.
• Write and edit Passenger Routing Instructions for contingency passengers going in/out of the USCENTCOM AOR.
• Perform Power-Track monitoring for USAFCENT shipments.
• Assist with representing USAFCENT/TMO at HQ level conference, symposiums, working groups,etc.
• Serve as WRM contract functional representative for TMO.
• Assistant Container Control Officer (CCO) for USAF Owned or leased containers throughout the USCENTCOM Theater.
• Provide guidance to USAFCENT Traffic Management customers IAW applicable DoD, USAF, and USAFCENT regulations, instructions, policies, and guides.

• Minimum of seven years of Traffic Management experience and a minimum two years' experience managing USAFCENT transportation support.
• Minimum of one year of Single Mobility System user experience.
• Minimum of three years' of GATES system user experience.
• Minimum of two years' experience handling Third Party Payment System processes.
• Minimum of one years' experience of Integrated Data Environment (IDE) and Global Transportation Network (GTN) Convergence (IGC) required.
• Minimum of two years of container management experience required.
