Job Description

HII-Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is currently looking for a Systems Engineer to support the customer KMI architecture form our Annapolis Junction office in Maryland.

The project scope is to define requirements, architecture and capabilities for a modern KMI. The project goals are to analysis the existing system architecture and operational performance against customer needs. Based on those findings the team will develop and enhanced operational architecture that is secure, expandable and resilient.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI with poly


Preferred Requirements
  • Seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is desired. .
  • Experience establishing and gaining approval of the definition of a system or component under development (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc.) that provides a common reference point for hardware and software developers.
  • Experience developing derived requirements for Information Assurance Services (Confidentiality, Integrity, Non repudiation, and Availability); Basic Information Assurance Mechanisms (e.g., Identification, Authentication, Access Control, Accountability); and Security Mechanism Technology (Passwords, cryptography, discretionary access control, mandatory access control, hashing, key management, etc.)
