Position Summary

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist works as a partner with their hiring managers

• Must work very closely with hiring managers, engaging as a strategic business partner to assess hiring and business needs and successfully fill job openings in a timely manner.
• Using a variety of recruiting sources, the Sr. Recruiter will post job openings, source resumes from internal and external websites, utilize social media and various advertisement options, identify qualified candidates, schedule interviews, provide benefit information, negotiate salary offers and extend employment offers.
• Discuss HR Policies and Procedures with hiring managers when necessary.
• Attend and participate in regular Talent Acquisition meetings to discuss recruiting issues and updates.
• Responsible for managing applicant profiles in HRIS system.
• Provide weekly recruiting status reports to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• The ability to interact with managers at all levels in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required.
• Experience using a wide variety of recruiting tools and resources including: Internet recruiting, employee referrals, social networks, job fairs, college career fairs, open house events, advertisements, etc.
• Knowledge of employment laws, Revolving Door and OFCCP employment requirements.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and strong Internet recruiting experience is necessary.
• Successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills and represent the company in a professional manner.
• Experience hiring transitioning military, information technology professionals, and engineers.
• Ability to hire cleared personnel at all levels.
• Experience with contract proposal support, a plus.
• Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency, working independently or in a team environment.

• 8+ years or full life-cycle recruiting experience, including 2-3 years of experience recruiting engineers related to modeling and simulation or live, virtual and constructive training (e.g. software, systems, network, cyber security, etc.).
• 2-3 years of experience recruiting for candidates supporting DoD or government contracts.
