Job Description
Alion Science and Technology, an Huntington Ingalls Industries Company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support a position located at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.
Experience:
- Knowledge of software engineering in support of the design, development, Test and Evaluation (T&E), implementation, maintenance, and administration of new and/or existing software systems.
- Review/develop/update applicable program documentation for software engineering relevant requirements.
- Support the development of the software development strategy
- Support the development of the Software Development Plan
- Apply Knowledge an understanding of aeronautical vehicle systems and/or airborne or related ground systems avionics Operational Flight Program capabilities to support the core engineering tasks as they relate to software engineering, software security, and cyber security.
- Support the tasks required to design, develop, integrate, and field Integrated Functional Capabilities (IFCs).
- Knowledge and experience in engineering principles, criteria, and procedures to Air Force systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
- Apply engineering knowledge and experience to organize and manage resources and personnel needed to efficiently and effectively accomplish USAF and acquisition objectives consistent with DoD 5000.02 policies and procedures.

Education and Yeas of Experience :
- Senior support requires a minimum of 20 years of relevant DoD experience and an ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Five (5) of these years must be in a DoD acquisition program as either a sub-system or system lead engineer within a recognized ACAT I (or equivalent) special access program office.
- Two (2) years of DoD SAP engineering experience must have accrued within the past four (4) years.

Top Secret and SCI eligible
