Who We Are

HII-TSD is seeking a qualified senior-level Intelligence Planner to support our customer, U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command (ACC). The Intelligence Planner provides direct support in specific areas, including national cryptologic, IT, cyber, ISR, tactical analysis, Commander support, and national-to-tactical signals intelligence. This position will support the customer with the execution of global full-spectrum ISR operations.

The incumbent uses intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities, including collection, analytic, and targeting activities, into overarching operational planning functions and efforts across the DoD mission areas. The Intelligence Planner develops campaign plans, participates in deliberate planning, helps with crisis management, and provides time-sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES). He/she assists with red teaming, and with intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process.

What You Will Do
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the All Source Analyst activities required to meet mission requirements.
  • Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology. Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
  • Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
  • Review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
  • Develops long-range objectives and strategic plans for corporation or major division by identifying internal and external strategic issues that could affect growth and profitability. Scans environment for business opportunities, maintains surveillance over market, and may perform financial analysis of acquisition candidates. Develops and monitors profitability, productivity, and growth targets. May prepare acquisition proposals, recommend financial and nonfinancial strategic objectives and alternatives, and implement and maintain strategic and operational plans. Plans and coordinates business reviews, resource allocations, organization structures, and financial analysis.


What You Must Have
  • Required Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Required Education: Master's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. A bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 15 years, is a substitute to the master's degree.
  • Clearance: Must posses a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
