Summary

HII-Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Program Manager to support multiple contracts in our Annapolis Junction, MD office.

Our Program Manager will be responsible for managing program operations to ensure deliverable schedules are met, resources are utilized efficiently and effectively, and proper relationships are established between customers. Our Program Manager will be responsible for cost, schedule, performance, and risk identification / mitigation on initiatives including but not limited to systems, tools, equipment, software, facilities and other activities. Other activities include, but are not limited to: coordinate resolutions to problems, and manage required manpower support levels throughout the period of performance of the contract.

What you will do

  • Responsible for the profit and loss of complex programs.
  • Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
  • Responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans across several subcontractors.
  • Responsible for overseeing a program contained at one primary geographic location however covering remote locations and multiple business functions and employees directly assigned to program.
  • Program may require new technologies.
  • Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
  • Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Develops new business or expands services with the customer.
  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Directs the work of employees including management level assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.


What you must have

  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Demonstrates ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
  • Demonstrates analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies, tradecraft and techniques aligned with contract(s) mission.
  • Demonstrates extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to Defense planners and policymakers.
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance


Preferred Requirements

  • 18 years of total experience relevant to the contract(s)
  • Master's degree in an area related to the contract(s) from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
