Summary
HII- Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Network Engineer to work at our customer site at ATF Headquarters in Washington, DC. Due to Covid, this work is currently being performed remotely.
This person will be responsible for the design and implementation of data communications and/or telecommunications networks.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Plan, design, implement, and support operations of technical infrastructure components (servers, workstations, networks and operating systems).
- Possess specific skills related to the Internet and applications related to the Internet and software engineering.
- May support video-teleconferencing center equipment and communication requirements.
- Provide project life-cycle support. Analyze and resolve ongoing technical issues, and identify potential improvements to increase technical infrastructure reliability.
- Train users on technical procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years relevant work experience
- CCNA Certification
- Required technologies: Cisco switches, routers and firewalls (ASAs); Cisco ISE and Prime
- Clearance: Must have either an active Public Trust or Secret level clearance
- A new Federal Executive Order requires that employees of Federal contractors be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by December 8, 2021. Accordingly, as a condition of employment with Technical Solutions, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, employees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption prior to starting employment.

- Preferred technologies: Brocade/Ruckus switches, Fortigate firewalls, SolarWinds, NetBrain
- Bachelors degree
