Job Description

Position Summary

The Intelligence Analyst Lead is responsible for developing the strategy and processes for a team of analysts against a variety of intelligence disciplines while operating in a cloud-based data environment, leveraging new tools or exploitation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Duties include teaming with systems engineering in an Agile development process as well as operational integration of PED and C5ISR intelligence capabilities, management of advanced analytics and integration of cyber requirements. Leads a geographically distributed workforce, standardizing, processes PED analyzing information and intelligence relevant to the threats facing the systems, assets, and resources critical to the nation.
  • Interfaces with representatives from other government and intelligence organizations.
  • Develops intelligence-based assessments derived from databases on specified customer targets.
  • Develops research studies, reports, and briefings and presents information.
  • Provides support to government customers to plan the implementation the employment of Multi-INT sensors and platforms.
  • May provide intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy.
  • Conducts highly complex comparative assessments, including creating timelines, identifying, and deducing trends, and estimating current or future threats.
  • Develops triage process of all forms of exploitable media captured. Processes current and historical data collected.
  • Provides guidance/leadership to less experienced Intelligence Analysts.

Required Education and Experience (Mandatory)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant professional technical, analytical and PED experience.
  • A minimum of fifteen years working on ISR programs for a major combatant commands or DoD agencies as an intel analyst
  • A minimum of five years' experience as a liaison officer supporting an ISR platform
  • Demonstrated ability to exploit all major sensors to include, EO/IR, SAR/GMTI, SIGINT, etc.
  • Five years or more managing (or performing duties as a) airborne operators for ISR platforms
  • Ten years or more performing duties as a SME or lead analyst on a national or airborne imagery system (including intelligence exploitation and/or dissemination)
  • Full understanding of the intelligence cycle as well as the F3EA cycle and ability to engage other key leaders at a technical level
  • Special Operations Forces experience
  • Must be able to travel 25%
  • Possess current TS/SCI clearance.

Desired Experience:
  • Experience with mission planning and flight requirements for an ISR platform
  • Experience with a wide variety of intelligence related engineering solutions, integration principles, architecture & training development incorporating information operations and all-source intelligence production
  • Experience developing solutions in a teamed (preferably FEDSIM) acquisition environment,
  • Previous inter agency experience (NGA or NSA)
  • Current CI poly preferred

  • Excellent analytical skills; the ability to analyze seemingly disparate pieces of data and compile a coherent assessment.
  • The ability to create and deliver clear, concise, and sourced briefings and reports.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
