HII - Technical Solutions Division is currently seeking a Helpdesk Engineer- Tier 2 to work out of their clients Rock Island Arsenal office in Illinois in support of the Network Enterprise Center - Rock Island Arsenal.
Essential Job Responsibilities
This position will:
- Provide technical support to base staff for personal computer systems software, hardware, and network connectivity.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, and network connectivity issues.
- Will be accountable for asset management of the information technology hardware.
- May assign and maintain user passwords for specialized software.

Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- 5+ Years of experience in troubleshooting windows 10
- 5+ years of experience with Windows hardware troubleshooting, to include replacing hardware components such as hard drives, RAM, fans, etc.
- Knowledge of pixie windows installations
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, specifically with group and permission verification
- Experience with remoting into end users' desktops to troubleshoot issues and to install software
- Clearance: Must have an active Secret Clearance
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge of PXE windows installations
