Who We Are:
HII Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is looking for a Fighter Pilot or Weapons System Officer (WSO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting the Air National Guard (ANG) Operational Training Support (OTS). The location will be the Distributed Training Operations Center (DTOC) ANG Operating Location (AOL) in Duluth, MN.
The qualified candidate will support daily Distributed Training Operations Support to include; Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) event preparation/execution/debrief, scheduled academics and academic program support, scheduled meetings, scheduled training, self-study, mission planning support, modeling and simulation (M&S) support, and other Operational Testing Training Infrastructure (OTTI) support defined by the Government.

What You Will Do
Provide operational and tactical level experience in integrated employment of DTOC core missions, with specific expertise in fighter employment and fighter integration. Expertise in sister service core missions may be appropriate and requested for training joint customers.
Duties include, but are not limited to
- Provide subject matter expertise supporting DMO training events
- Conduct mission briefing, execution and debriefing and post mission documentation
- Provide A/A expertise in support of DTOC mission planning
- Create scenarios within Environment Generator software.
- Coordinate with Network Operations Center (NOC) personnel for Event Control Center (ECC) set-up
- Provide expertise at meetings, Initial Planning Teams (IPT), working groups, and other related events.
What We Are Looking For:
- Current or previous fighter pilot or WSO in any of the following: F-16, F-15C, F-15E, FA-18, F-22 or F-35.
- Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade TS/SCI and SAP/SAR
- 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field.
- A new Federal Executive Order requires that employees of Federal contractors be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by December 8, 2021. Accordingly, as a condition of employment with Technical Solutions, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, employees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption prior to starting employment.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Mission Commander, Instructor Pilot/WSO, or Evaluator Pilot/WSO
- Air Force Weapons School Instructor Course Graduate or Navy Fighter Weapons School instructor pilot
- Three (3) years' experience conducting events in a robust DMO environment (Simulator experience considered)
- Experience with environment generator software to include Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) and Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE)
- Current Top Secret Clearance
