Job Description

Supporting F35 Contract in Arlington, VA

Job Duties:

• Involved through the entire acquisition life cycle, from pre-award planning through solicitation preparation, contract award, contract administration and contract close-out.
• Apply knowledge of the defense acquisition process in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures to devise strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of implementation.
• Use quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving acquisition/program planning, control, and execution.
• Knowledge of federal financial statement audits as promulgated by the GAO Financial Audit, DoD Financial Management Regulations, OMB Circular A-136, Financial Reporting Requirements, Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Boards standards, and the Treasury Financial Manual.
• Knowledge of four phases of audit (Planning, Internal Control, Testing and Reporting), and implementation of internal controls.

• Skills in planning, directing, leading, mentoring and motivating team members to meeting organizational goals.
• Skills in analytical and evaluative methods to assess information and prepare and present reports and briefings to senior leaders across the DoD, Navy and Air Force in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to conduct internal control tests of design/tests of effectiveness.
• Ability to plan, organize and direct the functions and staff of a large sized organization.Additional Preferred: Experience with DoD Acquisition programs and Foreign Military Sales.
