Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will provide technical oversight and quality assurance to a multi-disciplinary team of test analysts and engineers involved in the design, execution, and reporting of operational tests for a DoD assessment agency supporting a variety of military and government organizations. This position serves as a subject matter expert in DoD test principles and techniques and the primary liaison with the technical leadership of the supported government agency. On any given day you may be required to:

• Attend planning meetings with organization leaders to assist in vetting potential projects.
• Attend technical meetings with representatives from across the organization to assist in test design decisions
• Provide one-on-one mentoring to test analysts in the area of test design and data analysis
• Develop tools and techniques to facilitate the application of scientific test and analysis techniques to the analysis of test data
• Provide quality assurance reviews of written products from test analysts prior to submission to the government to ensure they are technically correct and meet quality standards
• When required, lead the quality assurance team in efforts to correct written products to bring them to standard.
• Conduct research to ensure the organization remains current in DoD test and evaluation policies and best practices

• BS degree in Engineering, Science, Technology or other STEM discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience applying statistical analysis techniques to operational test data
• Familiarity with DoD test and evaluation policies and best practices
• Experience working in fast paced, dynamic environments
• Current TS clearance with SCI eligibility
• Excellent written and verbal communications

• Masters degree in STEM field plus 10 years experience
• Experience planning and conducting operational tests for Special Operations Forces systems
• Familiarity with the application of modeling and simulation to test execution and analysis
• Experience applying scientific test and analysis techniques to the testing of hardware and software systems
• Experience working with military organizations and test ranges
• Experience applying quality assurance principles to written products
• Experience using software to conduct statistical analysis including Microsoft EXCEL, JMP, SPSS, R, Python
