The selected candidate will be supporting our Systems Integrations department working on modifications and installations to telecommunications, data centers, and satellite communications facilities. The selected candidate will perform duties including; removal, installation and modifications to major and minor equipment and cables, may be required to ensure connectivity and functionality of equipment, use diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and identifying deficiencies, install and troubleshoot configurations of telecommunications hardware and software ensuring the desired performance of telecommunications equipment, use technical knowledge to provide assistance and engineering solutions involving different modes of information transfer such as wireless telephony services, internet and broadband technologies. Selected candidate will be required to travel to shipyards and military bases located around or out of the country when not assigned to a local task. Per diem available based on location when on travel, travel and lodging expenses are covered by the company. #LI-SC1

Essential Job Responsibilities

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Minimum Qualifications

•Must have a thorough understanding of networks such as LAN and WAN
•Must be familiar with Navy Shore Installations and Communications Centers.
•Must have experience with data cable installation and terminations.
•Must have experience with Fiber Optic Cable installation and terminations.
•Must have Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) Installer 2, Copper (INSTC) Certification
•Must have Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) Installer 2, Optical Fiber (INSTF) Certification
•Must be able to travel, averaging 50-75%, to shipyards and military bases located around or out of the country when not assigned to a local task. Per Diem paid per day based on travel assignment.
•Must have/maintain an active DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher.
•Must be able to obtain/maintain a DBIDS/CAC badge for base access/credentials.
•Must be a US Citizen
•Must have a valid US passport. Prefer the expiration date to be 2022 or later.
•9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

Physical Requirements

Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
