Senior Product Manager Absence Experience

The Senior Product Manager is the strategic lead for Absence products. This role is accountable for product scope, direction, and outcomes-ensuring development teams build the right capabilities in the right sequence to maximize business value and customer satisfaction. Absence Management experience is required. Must be a SME in this area.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product roadmap for Alight's leave and absence experience.
• Expand and improve the experience for both employee and employer users.
• Oversee maintenance of existing solutions to ensure a consistent, compliant, end-to-end experience.
• Own and advance the product strategy across outsourcing, insourcing, and co-sourcing models.
• Partner with Product Directors and Product Managers to ensure alignment and shared prioritization.
• Drive a multi-year roadmap for experience capabilities, including partnership and program expansion opportunities.
• Manage and refine existing products to minimize client risk.
• Maintain roadmap visibility for leadership, engineering, delivery, and client-facing teams.
• Represent the organization at conferences, advisory groups, audits, and client feedback forums.
• Develop content, frameworks, and documentation that support thought leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, delivery, and client success to ensure high-quality execution.
• Validate solutions through discovery, prototyping, and user feedback.
• Support launch readiness across commercial, implementation, and enablement teams.

• 5+ years in absence management, ideally with experience in human-centered design across digital and assisted channels.
• 5+ years of product management experience with increasing responsibility, preferably in SaaS, HCM, claims, or digital platforms.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional product initiatives in an Agile environment.
• Proven skills in product strategy, user-centered design, requirements analysis, and competitive assessment.
