(THE ROLE)
Analyst- Quality
The Claims Quality Auditor - FMLA & STD is responsible for evaluating the accuracy, compliance, and quality of leave of absence and disability claims processing. This role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements (including FMLA guidelines), client policies, and internal quality standards, while driving continuous improvement in claims handling and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed audits of FMLA and STD claims to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Review adherence to timelines, regulatory requirements, and client-specific policies
- Identify defects, compliance gaps, and process deviations in claims handling
- Perform root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions
- Provide structured and actionable feedback to case managers and operations teams
- Participate in calibration sessions to ensure audit consistency and scoring alignment
- Prepare audit reports, dashboards, and trend analyses for leadership and clients
- Support internal and external audits, including client and regulatory reviews
- Identify and escalate high-risk compliance issues, including missed timelines or incorrect eligibility decisions
- Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all claim decisions
- Quality Framework & Metrics
- Audit claims based on predefined scorecards and quality parameters

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of FMLA regulations, leave of absence policies
- High attention to detail with strong auditing capability
- Ability to identify trends, risks, and root causes
- Effective stakeholder management
- Strong integrity and objectivity
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee data
- Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
- Willingness to learn the entire process and undertake production on a periodic basis.
Eligibility & Knowledge
- Graduate in listed discipline BA, B.Com, BCA ( No Gaps / Failure throughout Graduation)
- Overall, 6 and above years of work experience with LOA claims/ case management
- LOA/ STD Claim experience is preferred
- Ability to work evening/night shifts
- Data analysis and reporting proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to deliver clear, constructive, and compliance-focused feedback
- Understanding of the Audit the Auditor process
- Experience using quality audit forms
- MS Excel and reporting tools (Power BI preferred)
