The Difference You Will Make:

As a Manager, Connectivity Partner, you will be responsible for managing and executing strategy to the overall Hotels Connectivity. You will develop and lead a high-performing team responsible for the relationship management, enablement, and performance management of Airbnb’s Connectivity partners (i.e Channel managers, CRS and PMS systems). These connectivities enable real-time inventory updates, automated reservation delivery, and improved visibility, allowing hotels to drive bookings. This role will be accountable for helping grow Airbnb’s business through software partners. You will be responsible for setting up team and strategies, exceeding quarterly business and technical KPIs, establishing world-class account management practices, and mentoring and motivating your team members. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Enterprise and Connectivity Partners.

A Typical Day: 

  • Manage distributed team of Connectivity Partner Managers and Specialists and assist in partner management and new business development for supply acquisition
  • Responsible for the team to meet and exceed quarterly revenue, supply acquisition goals and other OKRs
  • Develop and execute a global strategy playbook, working closely with a distributed team of Connectivity Partners. Work closely with the Homes Connectivity team business as well. 
  • Create operational rhythm, establish and track KPIs, analyze business growth and other key metrics to identify trends, drive new business opportunities, and ensure resolution of business challenges with a sense of urgency
  • Establish and maintain successful business practices for managing strategic connectivity partners
  • Drive success with strategic partners
  • Monitor business needs and work closely with Product, Technical Support, and Account Management and Sales Leadership to help drive feature adoption and business performance
  • Serve as primary Airbnb point of contact for all internal questions, escalations and service improvements regarding connectivity partners

Your Expertise:

  • 10+ years of professional experience working in sales/account management roles - tourism, e-commerce, and hospitality is required
  • 3-5 years experience managing and leading highly effective teams with proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Proven to contribute and drive solutions to hotels supply acquisition and revenue goals
  • Highly motivated and engaged team builder with ability to coach and mentor Connectivity team members
  • Experience developing and driving channel sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with Connectivity team members
  • Ability to develop a strategy, communicate it clearly and get buy-in and support to execute against quarterly goals
  • Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities, operationalize execution, and drive business results
  • Ability to influence senior Airbnb leadership level or within partners leadership teams
  • Ability to work within a matrix, solve problems and influence cross-functional teams; strong stakeholder management across the organization, working with Marketing, Product, Technology, Legal, FP&A, regional field teams (Sales and Account Management) and enterprise account management
  • Experience in the hospitality technology space, knowledge of OTA, channel managers and/or Property management systems, and experience with API integrations strongly preferred
  • Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce), project management, and business intelligence tools (Tableau)
  • Travel as needed to meet team members and engage with partners and customers at industry events. May be up to 50% of time

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
