We are now looking for a senior BA to join our NYC team to help build and shape a new, Adaptive owned, product suite that will be instrumental to the future of the company's product strategy!

  • Strong front office stakeholder relationship management experience;
  • Experience delivering in an agile environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience with QA/Business Acceptance Testing;
  • Some experience working with UX designers;
  • Some knowledge of client onboarding, client tiering, KYC

YOU WILL MANAGE THE PROJECT BACKLOG: 

  • Support the requirements gathering and analysis throughout the discovery and design phases
  • Ascertain core features and functionality to be incorporated into a suite of business accelerators
  • Coordinate the deliverables and work packages for the development team
  • Actively managing client expectations, making assumptions explicit and keeping a log of important decisions throughout the engagement
  • Be the stakeholders’ proxy in the team, able to make quick, firm decisions when it comes to scope, requirements and prioritization/triage
  • Guiding internal teams, and client where needed, decisions effectively so that the team’s time is spent in a way that maximises efficiencies and mitigates project risk
  • Working with our client where needed, the other Adaptive BA’s and Project Managers to manage the scope of the delivery and dependencies
  • Drive the backlog review and estimation process and take part in planning activities
  • Capture non-functional requirements and keep supportability in mind
  • Making sure the creation/maintenance of sufficient functional documentation is included in the backlog
  • Understand various software concepts to discuss problems and orchestrate strategy with various talents in the team (including but not limited to: real-time programming, high availability, TDD, BDD, UX design, DevOps concerns…)
  • Work with distributed teams

Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. The Salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000

THE PROCESS

Long interview processes are stressful and boring, and that is not us 😉

We want to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

So here you will have three stage interviews:

1- A chat with one of our great recruiters.
2- A zoom chat with one of BA colleagues where they will ask you detailed questions about your experience
3- A Face to Face interview (via Zoom).

But don’t worry; everything will be explained to you step by step by your recruiter.

Base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package. Pay is based on candidate skills and experience.
