Rachel is a political science lover through and through—with a degree in the field and an internship at a presidential campaign to prove it. After she graduated, Rachel moved into the private sector as an analyst—but later learned that she liked the intersection of data and communications. This new direction, along with a friend’s recommendation, led Rachel to POLITICO.
Rachel and her small team have enabled POLITICO to visualize and move data across the business through customized dashboards—but it’s an ongoing endeavor. Since the numbers constantly change, Rachel splits project duties amongst her team—with tasks that range from helping leaders sort business intelligence analytics to walking editors through content benchmarks to deliver the best news possible.
