Cristina studied Spanish and English literature at the University of California, as well as international service and cross-cultural communications at American University—fascinated by languages and cultures. After working in D.C. and Spain, Cristina returned to her Californian roots and joined WhatsApp—excited to leverage her cultural knowledge to help WhatsApp achieve its mission of providing easy and accessible smartphone communication worldwide.

Sr. Manager, WhatsApp Customer Support & Localization
Around 8:30 AM, Cristina preps for the day—going through her emails before picking up the pace with the morning Stand-Up and scheduled meetings. She sits down with Legal and Localization Teams to discuss usage safety and language conversions across regions and mobile platforms to figure out technical requirements, address ongoing issues, and improve the overall WhatsApp communication process.
