Every other Thursday, Edmodo has a full staff meeting. What makes this meeting unique, however, is that each one begins with an introduction from an Edmodo teacher to share how they use the platform in their classroom. The teachers join via Skype, and staff are encouraged to pick their brains, asking as many questions as the time allows.
Created to bring education into the 21st century, Edmodo is now the number one K-12 social learning network in the world. The platform provides students and parents with the safest and easiest way to connect with educators in one place. To date, Edmodo has connected classrooms, schools, and districts with over 69 million members across 210 countries. Edmodo is backed by top-tier investors, including Greylock and Benchmark, with LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman serving as Chairman.
“What gets me excited about coming to work is knowing that I’m working for a company that’s going to disrupt the field of education and make a real change in the way that we see education in the future.”

“The thing I’m most excited about for the future of Edmodo is really delving more into how we can help students learn—and empower them to take learning into their own hands.”
