Work & Play
CareerVillage gets to the heart of some of the biggest problems in society like injustice, and it also leverages one of humanity's greatest strengths—the universal willingness to lend a hand to someone in need. With this intense work, the team also enjoys balance—with flexible hours and team outings. Baseball games, go-cart racing, and homemade dinner nights are a few staff favorites.
What CareerVillage Does
CareerVillage is a nonprofit that has helped one million people get career advice to get on the path to success. On the CareerVillage platform, students can post any question about any career. The platform then analyzes those questions and automatically distributes them to matching members of the online volunteer corps. The result? Highly personalized advice with a profound impact.
CareerVillage in the World
The CareerVillage team proudly partners with companies all over the world, in various industries, in order to give students a diversity and breadth of professionals when it comes to seeking guidance. Volunteers from Dell, ESPN, Fidelity, Verizon, Zynga, and LinkedIn are some exciting contributors on the platform.
