Carina Finn

Carina is a writer and editor who has spent her entire career finding ways to be creative at work. After graduating with an MFA in poetry from the University of Notre Dame, she worked for years in marketing and PR before taking some time away from office life to work as a pastry cook in New York City. Working in kitchens helped her to develop an unexpected passion for operations management, and she spent several years as a general manager in the boutique fitness industry. Now, she's an associate commerce editor at Bustle Digital Group, where she writes and edits shopping content for sites including Bustle, Mic, Inverse, and Elite Daily. She's also a freelance food writer and recipe developer, with recent work in The Infatuation, Eater, Bon Appetit, and elsewhere. Carina is a firm believer that taking a nontraditional career path can be one of the most exciting ways to realize your goals and end up in wonderful, unexpected places.
