You Can Now Get a Job Playing With LEGOs All Day—Yes, You Read That Correctly
Florida's LEGOLAND is hiring twenty people to be stationed in the sunshine state and basically get paid to build Legos. Do you have what it takes?

Those of you who survived Jonas last weekend may have warm memories of a Saturday and Sunday spent hunkered down inside your house, the name of the game: Do Nothing. Mere days after it stopped snowing, however, it was back to business as usual.

I can’t speak for you, but every time I step in a gross, slushy puddle on my way into the office, I get grumpier and grumpier as I realize that there are still nearly two months left of winter!

For any job searchers who are also fed up with the snow piles and bone-chilling temperatures, there’s a new option—LEGOLAND. In Florida. So, those with a penchant for sunny days, sandy beaches, and cool drinks might want to figure out a way to snag one of 20 available positions that involve playing with LEGOs all day.

Time reports that the company’s currently accepting applications for “Master Builders.” But should you go after the job, know that it won’t be enough to wax poetic about 2014’s The Lego Movie or speak wistfully about your childhood obsession with the building blocks; the interview process is said to include producing LEGO models from photographs.

The factory is in Winter Haven, Florida, outside of Orlando. The creative team boasts that it’s already hired 50 model builders and is looking to add to its team. Think about it: Not only would you get to escape the gray days of winter, but you would be playing with toys for a living. So, it may be time to polish up the ol’ resume and think about moving.

Just note that at this time the job’s not currently listed online. However, we’ve got your back and are closely monitoring the career page for additional info on exactly how you can apply. We have a sneaking suspicion the company’s initial application page crashed due to overload—surprising LEGO fanatics nowhere.
