Which city is better for being in tech?

California is one of the hottest spots for technology right now. From the Bay Area to Silicon Beach, tech startups seem to be around every corner. But not all cities are made equal—each one has its own quirks that make it special and, arguably, more enticing.

The battle between Los Angeles and San Francisco based on the day in the life of a tech worker is a close call. From proximity to the beach to cost of rent, there are tradeoffs and toss-ups in both places. So which city is better? You be the judge.
