The Big Problem That Comes With Any Career Success

Trying to reach a goal is difficult, but you finally did it: You landed the job, snagged the raise, or got the promotion. The only thing that’s more difficult than going after something you want? Keeping that level of success after you’ve achieved it.

In his popular TED talk, success analyst and author Richard St. John explains that it’s easy to want to sit back and relax once you’ve worked hard to achieve a goal (in his case, that included buying an incredibly expensive car).
