Sometimes, Figuring Out Your Career Path Is Easy

Meet Nella. Her career story is a special one that we absolutely had to share—because it’s also quite rare. She knew what she was meant to do with her life from a very young age: to be a nurse, just like her grandmother and mother.

Nella is from the Philippines, where she tells us it's pretty common to become a nurse: "A few of my closest friends are also nurses. And, I always looked up to my mother and grandmother and admired their passion for taking care of others. It's such an important job, and I always knew it's what I wanted to do.”

We know how tough it can be to find that kind of enthusiasm for and dedication to a job—so we consider ourselves lucky to have met someone like Nella who found a career that makes her truly happy every day. Her favorite thing about her work? "I get to meet all different kinds of people across the world. I'm a traveling nurse, so I change locations every three months. It's awesome to be able to help people from all over. I can't imagine doing anything else!”

Before we parted ways, Nella shared some pretty incredible career advice with us: "Never stop searching for that one thing that makes you happiest. Our jobs are a big part of our lives, and it's so important to never settle for anything that doesn't make you smile. Everyone deserves to feel fulfilled every single day." Right on, Nella. We couldn't agree more.
