Elliott says the program has been tested and refined over the years to make it as effective and helpful as possible.
Of course, you won’t stop learning after training is over. Every salesperson is put on a team with nine to 14 other reps and a manager—who will not only help you with calls, but also act as your mentor and coach.
With so much support for learning and development, it’s no wonder that professional growth within the company is common. Take Hunter Abel, an Inbound Sales Manager who joined Yodle in 2012 as an entry-level rep. “I started in the only department Yodle offered at the time,” he explains. “I went through the ups and downs, learned a ton, and looked for opportunities to help pioneer new products when they became available.” Abel was promoted to lead his own sales team and, after a successful year, transitioned again into his current role. “Yodle has been steadily growing since the day I began, and with this growth has always come new opportunities,” he says.
