These companies offer mental health benefits and wellness programs so you can live your best life at work and at home.

One key to bringing your best self to your job and finding work-life balance is avoiding burnout—which is why it’s important to find an employer that prioritizes its employees’ mental health and well-being.

Take the companies on this list. They all understand that employees need and deserve to take care of themselves. That’s why they all offer a mix of mental health resources and wellness programs that support overall well-being. For example, you could listen to a guided meditation, sign up for a fitness class, talk to a therapist, and take a day off work (or even a longer leave of absence) to reset and recover.

If you want to find a workplace where your health and well-being comes first, then take a look at the companies below.

Broadridge

Broadridge company profile
Broadridge cultureWorking at Broadridge

In addition to comprehensive healthcare options and a flexible work schedule program, Broadridge offers to eligible associates an employee assistance program, which includes mental health and substance abuse support. Our largest locations have on-site medical staff, and our associates in the New York tri-state area have access to an in-house well-being specialist who is a psychotherapist, licensed clinical social worker, and a credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor.

Our U.K. office offers a mental health first-aid program for bereavement leave. The role of mental health first-aiders is to be a first point of contact for associates who are experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress. U.S. salaried associates receive flexible paid time off, which allows them to integrate all parts of their life without worrying about time-off balances and other administrative issues. This provides more flexibility for associates and their managers to balance time away from work with the responsibilities of their role.

In response to the world’s heightened stress and anxiety, we are excited to provide our team members with additional ways to support their mental health and overall well-being. We offer access to Talkspace, an online and mobile therapy company, to all employees and their dependents at no cost to them. All DHI employees and their dependents also receive their own premium Calm app subscription. We also provide, at no additional cost, a comprehensive employee assistance program (EAP) to all employees and family members. The EAP offers access to mental health professionals for counseling, financial consultations, legal consultations, life coaching, and more.

At DHI, we support new parents with eight weeks of parental leave at full pay, in addition to family planning benefits through Carrot fertility, which covers all paths to parenthood—adoption, gestational carrier support, fertility treatments, pregnancy, and more. This year we expanded this coverage to include reimbursement for related travel costs.

We recognize the importance for team members to refresh, which is why all team members are eligible for flexible annual leave. We also offer Flexible Fridays, which allows team members to end their work week early. Lastly, DHI has a robust wellness reimbursement program to encourage team members to reach their physical wellness goals.
