This Manager Went the Extra Mile for His Customers During the Pandemic—Here’s What it Taught Him

The Kill Devil Hills branch of Enterprise Rent-A-Car was getting ready for a busy season on the Outer Banks of North Carolina when the pandemic forced it to close. Branch manager Chris and his colleagues were relocated to a branch about 53 miles away—but that didn’t stop him from returning to check on his regular customers like Mrs. M. “She seemed very worried and said she was terrified of going out,” he says.
