charity: water may use its funds to do important good in the world, but it raises them in style. At Charity Ball 2012, the company's 7th annual gala, employees and supporters spent a lovely December evening, hosted by Jessica Biel, indulging in good food and drink, dancing the night away, and, most importantly, raising money for clean drinking water. Last year’s ball raised $2.2 million dollars in one night—enough to help 100,000 people get access clean water.

With almost one billion people living without access to clean water, charity: water’s mission can seem daunting at times. Rather than focus on the negative, though, charity: water chooses to focus on the individuals it has helped, such as Caroline and her inspirational story. Pictures of Caroline, a young Ugandan girl, are scattered across the office, and her beautiful smile reminds employees of the effect their efforts have across the globe everyday.
