The RoleYour Role
We are looking for a Tenable Security Architect / Administrator to lead the end-to-end design, deployment, administration, and automation of our enterprise vulnerability management infrastructure across hybrid environments.
In this varied and dynamic role, you will shape asset classification models, risk assessment reports, security policies, and implementation plans while configuring and monitoring networks to defend our enterprise infrastructure against cyber threats.
Look no further - Kyndryl is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team of talented Technical Specialists.
At Kyndryl we support all major cloud platforms, so you'll get the chance to use everything you know - and then some. You'll also become expert at knowing when and how to call on other SMEs outside your wheelhouse. Thinking your way around pre-existing limitations will grow your creativity and flexibility. You'll learn a lot here, and if you want to work toward certifications there are plenty of opportunities. The rewards for all this are many. You'll get to influence, create, and deliver something from start to finish. You will have the power to delight our clients.
What You Will Do- Tenable Architecture & Administration: Design, scale, configure, and maintain Tenable Security Center, Tenable.io/Vulnerability Management, and Nessus across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Vulnerability & Risk Management: Analyze scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities using CVSS and business risk, and collaborate with IT/cloud teams to drive and validate remediation.
- Automation & Scripting: Automate platform monitoring, reporting, and operational tasks using REST APIs, JSON, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Enterprise Integrations: Integrate Tenable with ServiceNow, SIEM platforms such as Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel, and Active Directory.
- Security Strategy & Governance: Develop security policies, procedures, risk reports, and solution assessments while supporting security awareness initiatives.
Your future at KyndrylThis role opens the door to many career paths, both vertical and horizontal, and there may be opportunity to travel. It's a great chance for database administrators or other techs to break into the cloud. It's also a solid path to become enterprise or chief architect or a distinguished engineer! Whatever you see for yourself, you'll find the opportunity here.
Who You AreYou're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important - you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. You are customer-focused - someone who prioritizes customer success in their work. And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.

- Vulnerability Lifecycle & Risk Prioritization: Deep understanding of the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle, including assessment, risk prioritization (CVSS, CIS Benchmarks, CVEs), remediation tracking, and supporting audit and compliance frameworks.
- Automation & Scripting: Practical proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) and working with REST APIs and JSON payload processing to automate platform health checks, scanner deployments, and operational reporting.
- Ecosystem & Cloud Integrations: Hands-on experience integrating Tenable with enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, SIEM solutions (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel), Active Directory, and major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Cross-Functional Governance & Technical Support: Strong technical leadership skills to troubleshoot complex scan failures, define scanning policies, deliver actionable reports/dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional IT, security, and infrastructure teams to drive vulnerability closure.
